EACh SPRING, the parkside community comes together to raise money for our art and movement programs at the spring auction. We look forward to seeing you on March 14 at bryant park grill, and hope you will help make the event a success by donating or soliciting items to be included in the auction. 

Seeking Auction Items

In order for the event to be a success, the Parent Association needs help identifying and soliciting items and experiences to be included in the auction.  Popular items from past auctions have included:

  • Concert, Theater, Sports or other Special Event tickets or VIP experiences
  • Vacation Getaways (weekend homes, time shares, airfare, cruises…)
  • Themed baskets or packages of related items
  • Unique and special Gift Certificates that can be used to create an experience or package (Restaurants, Spas, Retail Stores, etc.)
  • Memberships to museums, health clubs, etc
  • Limited edition memorabilia or collectibles, or other new and unique merchandise like jewelry, purses, books and accessories
  • Special Nights Out on the Town
  • Family Adventures

We ask that you avoid soliciting items that are discounts, and focus on items that provide a full experience for the auction winners. The Parent Association will not accept percentage off coupons (i.e. 75% off a birthday party package), free items that require an additional purchase in order for the winner to have a full experience, or coupons or gift cards that don't allow the winner to utilize their winnings for a full item or experience.

Letter to Share with Potential Donors (please personalize as you see fit)
Informational Sheet with more details about Parkside’s mission and history
Donation Contract which is required for all auction donations, and will serve as the tax receipt for donors
Sponsorship Opportunities for individuals or businesses interested in underwriting the event

Deadline for all donations is February 23, 2018 to allow proper time to package items and prepare our online and printed materials for the auction.  If you have questions about the auction, or specific ideas you would like to discuss, please contact the 2018 Spring Auction Co-Chairs:
