Parkside welcomes elementary school children from diverse ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds who have a range of language-based learning difficulties. ADVANCEMENT ASSOCIATE

Part Time: 2 Days / 16 Hours per week beginning Summer/Fall 2026

The Parkside School — an independent elementary school for children with language-based learning differences, and now just past our 40th year — is looking for a part-time Advancement Associate to help us tell our story.

First and foremost, you'd be our storyteller. You'd photograph everyday life at Parkside — the small moments and the big ones — and share them through our social media. You'd also be a friendly first point of contact for our Parents Association and lend the Director of Advancement a hand with events, fundraising, and keeping our database in good shape.

We're hoping to find someone with a good eye behind the camera, real experience running social media for an organization, a warm and natural writing voice, comfort picking up new technology, and a genuine interest in a community of kids who learn differently. It's a brand-new role, and one that's designed to grow.

The position is 16 hours a week, on-site on the Upper West Side, starting summer or fall 2026. The salary is $26,000–$32,000 a year, depending on experience.
