Understanding Emotions and Developing Strategies for Success
Speaker: Lauren Baker
All feelings, big and small, are a natural part of child development and, although we can’t control our kids’ feelings, we can certainly find ways to help them manage them. In this parent talk, Lauren Baker, pediatric occupational therapist, will explore self-regulation; what it is and why it is so important to our kids’ success at home, school, and in the world at large. She will also share strategies to help parents understand emotions and explore techniques to build self-regulation skills.
