Congratulations to Adriana Bass, former Parkside Social Work Intern, who has just accepted a position in the inaugural cohort of The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services Social Work Residency as one of six Behavioral Health Clinicians in the Early Childhood Mental Health track.

On Thursday, June 15 Parkside alumnus Rome Kadi ‘15 gave the the alumni address during the Class of 2023 Graduation Ceremony. Here is the full transcript of his speech and photos from the ceremony!

Keeping in touch with our graduates and their families means so much to all of us at Parkside. To see how our alumni have grown and to celebrate all they have achieved is what helps motivate us to continue the work we do for our current students. Last week we had the pleasure of catching up with former Parkside parents at a cocktail party hosted by Elli and David Basner, whose son Ben graduated from Parkside in 2014. This Alumni Parent Cocktail Party has become an annual tradition, and is a very special opportunity for us to hear about the many paths our alumni have taken, and the immense impact Parkside has had in the lives of our students and their families.

Pilar Muhammad, Class of 2007, will be speaking at Parkside’s graduation this year. Pilar recently took some time to respond to our Alumni Spotlight questionnaire, and we are delighted to share some of her responses.
