Join The Parkside School’s Speech and Language Pathology Department for a comprehensive 2-day play workshop. Parents, caregivers and educators will learn why play is vital to facilitating the language and social emotional growth of elementary aged children with language and learning difficulties. The Parkside School’s 5 Speech Language Pathologists will discuss how you can foster child led play interactions and deepen social relationships, while considering a developmental, language-based model. After taking “The Power of Play at Home and at School,” you will be equipped with hands on treatment approaches and strategies to facilitate play for your children at home, at school and even during play dates!
