Gifts Of Securities
Gifts of securities provide very attractive tax advantages. Capital gains taxes are avoided and the full market value of the stock can be tax-deductible. If you are interested in making a gift of stock and would like to receive instructions on transferring securities, contact Anthony Kapp at akapp@parksideschool.org or 212-721-8888 x153.
Corporate MAtching Gifts
Matching gifts are a great way to significantly increase your level of support to Parkside. Many corporations will match employees’ gifts or their spouses’ gifts to their schools. For example, if you donate $5,000 to The Parkside School, your employer may be willing to match your generosity and you will be credited with a $10,000 gift to the Annual Fund. Contact your human resources department to learn about your company’s matching gift policies and procedures. Contact Anthony Kapp, Director of Development, if you need assistance with forms or need specific information to provide to your employer.
VENMO
Parkside is now on Venmo and can be found by searching @TheParksideSchool. We encourage alumni students and donors wishing to make small donations to the Annual Fund to make use of this payment method, but ask that our leadership donors continue to use our other giving methods.
Facebook fundraisers are a great way to engage your network of friends and family in support of Parkside. To create a Facebook fundraiser in support of Parkside - in honor of your birthday, a special occassion, or just because - click here and follow the prompts to "Raise Money" which will allow you to search your favorite non-profits and choose The Parkside School as the beneficiary of your fundraiser.
You may also make a direct contribution to Parkside using the Donate button in the upper right side of our profile page. Giving through Facebook saves Parkside money, because Facebook does not charge any credit card processing fees.
