Over the course of the past three decades, our alumni body has been growing steadily — and not just in number. Graduates stay closely connected with us (and to each other) in many ways. Toward the end of each school year, our oldest students reach out to recent graduates with a questionnaire about their experiences after Parkside. The combination of questions, ideas and responses help guide our graduating class to their next school experiences.
Each year, The Parkside School organizes several events for alumni students, including our annual Alumni Dance Party for alumni ages 17 and younger, and a special gathering for alumni ages 18 and older. In recent years, this event has been a bowling party.
Our Counselor-In-Training program brings alumni back to our classrooms as teachers and mentors to help students in our summer program. The alumni chosen for this program receive work experience and training while they learn to become role models.
We invite all alumni and their families to return to Parkside to visit, and to keep us up to date on what's happening in their lives.

Andrew Isaacson ‘11 gave the keynote address at the 2019 Graduation and Achievement Ceremony on June 19. His speech was heartfelt and deliberate, straightforward, and the perfect summation of how Parkside prepares students to take challenges head on, to advocate for themselves, and to believe in their future.
With another school year behind us, summer is a great time to reflect on the achievements of our alumni. We’ve heard from a number of alums over the past year. We hope you enjoy reading about their adventure and accomplishments below!
Pilar Muhammad, Class of 2007, will be speaking at Parkside’s graduation this year. Pilar recently took some time to respond to our Alumni Spotlight questionnaire, and we are delighted to share some of her responses.
When he first came to Parkside from the Central Park Early Learning Center in the Fall of 2004, Andrew Isaacson ’11 remembers being a shy boy who didn’t like loud noises. He’s come a long way since then.
We recently had the opportunity to visit with Yoni Messing, who stopped by Parkside over the summer. We had a great conversation about his memories of Parkside, and what inspired him to become a software developer.
